Registration Info

Registering for French Classes

Mail In Registration: Just fill out the registration form and send it with a check payable to Alliance Française  by the (Junior League Building, Attn: Alliance Francaise, 3500 Columbia Parkway, Cincinnati, OH  45226).  There will also be an open house for adult lessons at the Junior League Building to give students the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and also get acquainted with the location and books.  The open house for children’s lessons will be at the Saint Barnabas Church (10345 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery OH 45242).

10 week session – Enrolling Now

Tuition must be payed in full at registration by the start of the first class. A late fee of $25 will be charged for payments received after the first class. The price of the textbook is NOT included in the tuition fee. Most classes use a textbook as well as a workbook; these may be purchased, on the first day of class.

In case severe weather or unexpected situations force us to cancel classes, make-up classes will be added.

Membership

Membership in the Alliance Française association is required to attend classes and included in the price of the class. This fee covers membership in the Alliance Française during the period of enrollment in the Institute. As a member, you will belong to the French Community and the Alliance Française in Cincinnati. You will be entitled to participate, at special rates, in events that the Alliance Française organizes all year round.  These events are family-oriented and are linked with French culture and celebrations.

Refund Policy/ Cancellations

  • Refund
    Due to our non-profit status, and obligation to our instructors, class members and host association, no refund can be made after the first week of class.
  • Force majeure
    In case of necessary withdrawal because of hardship beyond your control, you may apply for credit toward future instruction. The request must be made in writing and accompanied by appropriate proof. If granted, this credit must be used within the same school year.
  • Cancellation /Addition
    Classes without sufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation. We may add an additional section if demand warrants.
