The Olympic and Paralympic Games will take place in Paris in the summer of 2024. In this class, you'll revisit the Summer Olympics, from the Ancient time in Greece, to today's Games. You'll cross path with sports legends, and get a glimpse on the geopolitical aspects of the Game. The final session will be devoted to the Paris 2024 edition.
Students will be encourage to participate through conversation around the theme of the Olympics. Vocabulary for all things sports and beyond will be taught.
This mini session lasts for 5 weeks, one hour per week. It starts on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and ends on May 6, 2024. Online or In person.
