Bastille Day Picnic

Bastille Day Celebration at Swaim Park

Our annual Bastille Day celebration this year celebrates the 300th anniversary of the founding of New Orleans. Join us in Swaim Park on Friday, July 13, starting at 6 p.m.

We rent the facility, provide water, tables, chairs, live music by Lagniappe, prizes for best dishes, and games for the kids. Members and non-members of the Alliance Française are welcomed. Each guest or family brings a dish for six to share, and the beverages of their choice.

The event is FREE for members, 5$ for individual guest, and 10$ for a non-member family.

Here is the link to register. See you on July 13!

Summer Class Registration

The Institute offices will be closed June 30 through July 12. Our summer classes begin July 23. Click HERE for registration information.

Join us for World Class Tennis in Mason. We have bought group tickets at a discounted price for our members, for the Sunday, August 12 day session, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to see top players at practice, and qualifier matches. And even hear French players commenting on their performance. Tickets are $25 and will go fast. They will be delivered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Au revoir Madame Renée Lowther

In memory of Renée Lowther, the Alliance Française of Cincinnati sends condolences to her three children Christine, Roxanne and Marc. The support she gave to Alliance Française over sixty years is simply unfathomable. She will be missed by the many students who learned French with her, and by the Francophone community of the Tri-state. Her souvenir will last, and her passion for life will continue to inspire us all.

A scholarship fund has been established in Renée’s name. Send your donation by check to:
