2026 French Film Festival
Northern Kentucky University (NKU) will host the Albertine Cinémathèque French Film Festival this year thanks to funding available from the French government. This will be the sixth consecutive year that the departments of English and World Languages and Literature at NKU have hosted. Screenings are FREE and open to everyone.
The line-up includes newer films and one French classic.
Here is the list for 2026:
MARCH 19 – HOLY COW/VINGT DIEUX
MARCH 26 - DAHOMEY
APRIL 2 - FLOW
APRIL 9 – GHOST TRAIL/LES FANTOMES
APRIL 16 – WHEN FALL IS COMING/QUAND VIENT L’AUTOMNE
APRIL 23 – A WOMAN IS A WOMAN/UNE FEMME EST UNE FEMME
Screenings start at 6:00 pm and take place in the Otto M. Budig Theater. After the screening one of the faculty members will lead a discussion.
