French Jazz Player in town

French pianist Philippe LeJeune will be performing at Schwartz's Point Jazz & Acoustic Club on Sunday, July 16. LeJeune has been playing jazz and blues since the late sixties. In 1980 he was invited by the great Memphis Slim to cut an album titled « Dialog In Boogie » as a piano duet. The French blues and boogie-woogie pianist is one of those few European pianist who is able to take part in the grand tradition of American jazz mixing swing, a sense of melody and the blues.

The intimate and cozy club, located in OTR, is the perfect setup for sharing the musical experience and engaging with the artist.
