La journée du cheval
Join us for a field trip to Lexington, to visit some of the most prestigious horse stables in the country. Our guide, Remi Bellocq, spent his life and carrier working with horses. And drawing cartoons like the one on this page! Here is a video of Remi, taking about his two passions in life.
You may choose to arrive on Saturday morning or on Saturday afternoon. We ask you to register, and select the arrival time and other options by filling up the survey here. Space is limited, and activities will be assigned based on first-response, first-serve.
We will communicate to inform participants on the status of their reservation.

Here is the program:
- Watch Morning Workouts at Keeneland. 8.30 am – 10 am; Walking tour of barn area at Keeneland. Behind the scene tour of a racing stable, see horses up close, meet a trainer, jockey and watch morning workouts. Afterward, stop for breakfast at the Keeneland Backstretch Kitchen. Capacity: 20 people
- Visit a Breeding Farm. 11-12:30. Guided tour of a nearby breeding farm, Godolphin Farm. Capacity: 20 people
- Keeneland Racing. Head back to Keeneland for the races. First race starts around 1:30pm, last race is around 5:30pm. Participants will have the opportunity to do a group Photo with celebrated French jockeys.
Travel to Lexington is on individual cars, with possibility of car pooling.
