Poetry reading and discussion with Nathan Rabalais

Nathan Rabalais, poet and professor of Francophone Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, will present selections from his book of original poetry Le Hantage: un ouvrage de souvenance (2018). The book deals with how we work through memory, and it includes many images and words specific to Louisiana. The presentation will include readings of select poems, as well as discussion of the book’s photographs and vocabulary that will be of interest to those looking to learn more about the francophone culture of Louisiana.
